via PRWEB – Bluepoint Solutions and PCSi today announced Chesapeake, VA-based ABNB Federal Credit Union has selected the integrated check capture and item processing services through a previously announced partnership. The credit union will implement ImagePoint Teller capture with integrated fraud and counterfeit detection, ImagePoint ATM capture, QwikDeposit Pro merchant capture, QwikDeposit ToGo mobile capture, and ImagePoint Hub for check image aggregation and cashletter processing.

With $406 million in assets and 14 branches, ABNB was seeking a way to increase efficiency and improve member service to better provide for their fast-growing membership. Faced with a significant technology upgrade and financial investment required by its previous provider, the credit union conducted a full solution search and vendor due diligence project. ABNB is an existing customer of PCSi, usingthe CUSO for share draft clearing services. The credit union was able to add the additional capture points for virtually the same cost as an in-house system.

ImagePoint Teller automatically prompts tellers to compare and correct any CAR/LAR discrepancies and validate the MICR line in real-time, prior to cashletter transmission. Additionally, the credit union will use integrated, real-time fraudulent or counterfeit check detection services right at the point of presentment, allowing the credit union to apply Reg. CC holds when appropriate, thus preventing potential losses to members, while also leveraging duplicate item detection across all capture points to further prevent costly errors.
